A few words in the light of recent events

This post would have been a long "This is not a gear blog" installment about my venture into hardboot splitboarding. In light of recent events, I will keep it short and sweet: That toe edge power is addictive!

However, a very close call came in between. This Sunday we remote triggered a fairly big slab above us, and got swept down into the birches. I am so utterly relieved to report that everyone made it, a more thorough report will follow when we have recovered a bit. To all the people that helped us, I owe big thanks. To my partners who were in it with me, I cannot say how happy I am you made it, and get well soon!
